XL-1 Advanced Comm 2.5 are tactical micro-goggles developed by Wiley X for superb eye protection for sport shooting, military, and law enforcement agencies. The 2.5mm thick lenses are extruded, cut, and heat formed from a shatterproof Selenite™ polycarbonate. The glasses are then layered in scratch-resistant and fog-proof hard coating for increased resistance to grazing and surface damage. It also guarantees 100% UVA and UVB protection with distortionless clarity. The set consists of two lenses - smoke-tinted and transparent. They are swappable depending on the weather and light conditions. Reinforced frame and Comm temples are injection molded from Tryloid nylon and anatomically shaped for improved comfort during prolonged usage. The utilized material makes them lightweight and exceptionally durable. The additional rubber elements on the temple tips reduce fatigue and increase grip. The Facial Cavity Seal is responsible for blocking out dirt, dust, and peripheral light. Thin Comm temples allow the comfortable use of earmuffs and active headphones.
