Description
Designed by Ken Onion in Kaneohe, Hawaii, and manufactured by the CRKT, the Bona Fide is one of the more unique knives the producer offers. With a weight of 119g, a drop-point blade length of 89mm, and a total of 207, this folder is a perfect knife for the everyday situation. The 3.6mm thick blade of 1.4116 steel is manufactured with friction grooves on the top, a plain cutting edge, and a PVD coating. The geometry of it is designed with lightness in mind while still being solid for everyday use. The handle made of ADC12 aluminum alloy is firmly mounted to the steel frame and painted green. It is also well formed to resemble wa'a - a traditional Hawaiian canoe. The removable stainless-steel pocket clip is available for a right-handed user, as well as a lanyard hole at the butt of the knife. The unique feature is the "Field Strip Gen II" that enables quick disassembly for cleaning and sharpening of the knife. Thanks to its compact size and low-profile looks, the Bona Fide is a knife that blends in with everyday carry.
