Description
The RIG is a Petzl-designed descender device with a self-braking function manufactured for climbing and tactical applications. Well-thought construction makes it easy and intuitive to use. A rope guide and engraved markings help with rope installation. Two descent modes are available - primary on the side plate and secondary on the V-shaped friction channel. AUTO-LOCK system allows the climbers to quickly position without the need to operate the handle or the device. In a locked position, it is possible to use the RIG in conjunction with the FOOTAPE and ASCENSION as a short-term rope ascent system. RIG can be utilized in lowering heavy loads of up to 200 kg.
