Description
Designed by T.J. Schwarz and manufactured by CRKT, the Tailbone is a tool that might look bizarre at first glance. But in reality, it is a knife with an uncommon feature. With a weight of only 57g, a drop-point blade length of 54mm, and a total of 160mm, this neck knife is a perfect solution for outdoor activities mixed with precise work. The 3.9mm thick blade made of 8Cr13MoV steel is manufactured with friction grooves on the top and finished with a stonewash technique. The quirk in the Tailbone is the handle - made of the same steel as the blade but in the mechanical chain configuration. This unique feature gives the ability of vertical movement of the handle. On the contrary, it does not hinder the cutting or slicing motion but improves the ergonomics of neck carrying. It is highly functional and wrapped in an orange paracord for better grip and looks. The matching sheath is manufactured of black thermoplastic and fitted with a removable belt clip and an extra piece of cord. With a unique design, a blade that is easy to sharpen, and enhanced ergonomics, Tailbone is the knife for those unforeseen circumstances in the field.
